More About Our Craft Cannabis
Craft cannabis Canada-wide means small batches, and small batches mean what they say. These lots come from growers running rooms rather than warehouses, hand-trimmed and slow-cured, and when a batch is gone it is gone. Stock rotates often, so what is here today will not be here next month. Expect intact bud structure, loud terpene profiles and pricing that reflects the labour behind it.
What Actually Makes Flower Craft
The word gets used loosely across the Canadian market, so it is worth setting out what we mean by it.
Small Batch and Hand-Trimmed
Machine trimming is faster and cheaper, and it knocks trichomes off the bud in the process. Hand-trimmed flower keeps its resin and its shape. A small batch grower can watch individual plants rather than manage an average, which is where the consistency comes from. It is slower and more expensive, and that is the entire trade-off.
Cure Time
A slow cure is the least visible part and often the biggest difference. Rushing it leaves harshness and flattens aroma. Properly cured flower snaps rather than crumbles, and the smell keeps developing in the jar rather than fading.
How to Judge It Yourself
You do not have to take anyone's word for it, including ours. Look for trichomes still intact across the bud rather than dusted off into the bag. Check the trim — hand work leaves the bud shape irregular but tidy, machine work leaves it rounded and uniform. Squeeze gently: correctly cured flower gives slightly and springs back rather than powdering. And terpene-rich flower announces itself the moment the bag opens, which is the simplest test of the lot.

Worth noting: craft is about cultivation and handling, not potency. If a high THC number is what you are filtering on, the high THC category does that job directly. Top shelf weed and high test results are not the same thing, and the two do not always travel together.
